Engine
Maruti Suzuki K15B engine is designed to deliver strong low
and mid-range torque to improve off road driving capability. The engine is
lightweight, compact and fuel efficient. The engine uses the VVT technology to
reduce noise vibration and harshness. The SDLI(smart distributer less
injection) system features electronic controlling and coil on plug design. It
offers a 1462cc displacement, 102-105hp power and 130-138Nm torque.
K15B mated with Progressive smart hybrid technology comes
with integrated starter converter and dual battery setup. The integrated starter-generator unit enables brake energy regeneration
during deceleration thus assembly provides torque assist functionality during
acceleration and engine start-stop function.
The S-CNG mated engine delivers
91bhp power and 122Nm torque. The CNG assembly has been designed to deliver
maximum fuel efficiency and smooth
performance. The leak proof and corrosion free design with the use of stainless
steel fuel distribution system ensures total safety of passengers.
Mileage
The mileage offered by Petrol
manual variant is 19.1kmpl, petrol automatic is 17.9kmpl and CNG variant offers
mileage of 26.2km/kg.
