Toyota Kirloskar Motor officially launched the new Innova Crysta facelift model in India on November 24. The new Toyota Innova Crysta is available in GX, VX and ZX variants with prices ranging from Rs 16.26 lakh to Rs 24.33 lakh (Ex-showroom). The prices are same across Indian states except Kerala. The facelifted MPV will be offered in two new exterior color shades – Sparkling Black and Crystal Shine across three trims and two engine options.
The new Innova Crysta features new trapezoidal piano black
grille with extended LED projector headlights. A sharper front bumper design
and diamond-cut 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels give it a contemporary look.
Safety features include seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start
Assist. The interiors will get a new look with the option of Camel Tan
upholstery colour in the ZX variant. A nine-inch Smart Playcast touchscreen
audio with Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity is available in the
upgraded Innova. The MPV also includes vehicle connectivity features such as
real-time vehicle tracking, geofencing, last parked location and other optional
accessories.
The Innova Crysta facelift continues to be powered by the
BS6 friendly 2.4-litre diesel and 2.7-litre petrol engine. While the diesel
motor delivers 150bhp / 360Nm torque the petrol engine can deliver 166bhp /
245Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come paired to a five-speed manual and
six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The prices for the new facelift model are higher by Rs
50,000 to Rs 70,000 across the variants.

While Innova has been in India for several years now, Innova
Crysta added a style quotient to the vehicle. With the plethora of cosmetic changes
introduced in the facelifted Toyota Innov Crysta, Toyota now wants to build its
glamour.
