Inspired by the design technique of the 1936 BMW R5, the company made second attempt after 1997 BMW R1200C in the heavy cruiser bike range. The Classic addition to the R18 cruiser model range comes with the growing global affiliation for the distinct features of the retro cruiser bike.

Engine Specifications
The R18 is powered by 1,802cc boxer engine that develops 91bhp and 158Nm of torque. The peak torque is produced at 3,000rpm, 150Nm is available from as low as 2,000rpm to deliver impressive rideability and acceleration.
The powerhouse is paired with 6-speed gearbox with an anti-hopping or slipper function clutch. The power is transferred to the rear wheel via a shaft drive while BMW will also offer you a reverse gear as an optional extra, something you should consider with its 365kg kerb weight.

The classified features of the cruiser bike include double-loop tubular steel frame, exposed propshaft, rigid frame and spoked wheels.
The 2021 classic R18 Cruiser brings with it additional touring elements that add to the R 18’s superiority.
