The year 2020 saw a dramatic boom in the trending compact SUV segment in India. Engine Specifications

The powertrain options in Renault Kiger include- 3-cylinder 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol  mated to 5-speed MT and 5-speed X-Tronic CVT automatic. The other engine option is a 3-cylinder Energy variant with 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor producing 72PS maximum power and 96Nm of peak torque, while this can be paired either with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed Easy-R AMT.

Dimensions

The Kiger build is based on Renault’s CMFA+(common module family architecture) platform. It is 3,991mm in length, 1,750mm in width without mirrors and 1,600mm in height with roof rails. It has a 2,500mm long wheelbase, while the ground clearance measures 205mm. The vehicle's boot can hold 405 litres of Luggage capacity.

The Duster inspired sporty design of Kiger offers it an exclusive athletic punch. The exterior of Kiger has the prominent twin-slat chrome grille, tri-LED headlights, LED DRLs, C-shaped LED taillights, functional roof rails, shark fin antenna and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The new Kiger is available in six distinct colour options -- Caspian Blue, Radiant Red, Moonlight Silver, Planet Grey, Ice Cool White and Mahogany Brown.
