Engine Specification
The 2021 model is powered by thermal efficient 1.2L K12N Dual Jet engine that delivers 90hp power and 113Nm Torque. The performance of facelift Swift has been enhanced to deliver higher compression ratio, dual Variable Valve Timing system, cooled EGR system, redesigned cooling channels with piston cooling jets and use of advanced low friction engine oil for improved efficiency and reduced friction.
Transmission
The 2021 Swift will be continued to be offered with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT Transmission. The AGS (Auto gear shift) two pedal technology in AMT variant of Swift uses an Intelligent Shift Control Actuator that is controlled by a Transmission ECU. This actuator automatically performs clutch and gear shift operation to transfer the power from the engine to the drivetrain. Gears are automatically changed as per the calibrated ratios to deliver great driving pleasure as well as enhanced fuel efficiency. The versatility of AGS is that it offers the driving option to switch to the manual mode to have more control on gear shift.
