Hyundai’s sub-compact model Venue was launched in India in 2019 with clear understanding of the market affiliation for this segment of vehicles. This year too Hyundai aims to maintain its stance as the top selling sub-compact in the industry. The January sales chart reads Venue’s clear preference by the consumer over the strong contenders like Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Breeza and Ford Ecosport as the company sold a whopping 11,779 of its units.

Engine Specifications

Hyundai offers three engine options in Venue which offers consumer to make choice for the most suitable powerhouse assembly to meet the performance and efficiency demand.

It powertrain options include petrol variant with 1.0-litre Kappa turbo GDi(998cc) which delivers 118bhp power and 172Nm Torque and 1.2-litre Kappa engine(1197cc) with 82bhp power and 114 Nm Torque, while the diesel variant is offered with 1.5-litre U2 CRDi engine(1493cc) which churns out 99bhp power and 240Nm Torque.

The Hyundai offers Venue with three transmission options-5,6 speed manual,7-speed DCT and 6-speed IMT.
